All CTA deployments that we are aware of are using either Oracle or PostgreSQL as the database back-end for the CTA Catalogue. The one site that were using MySQL have informed us that they have switched to PostgreSQL.
We have decided therefore to drop support for MySQL and to keep Oracle and PostgreSQL as the two supported DB back-ends.
If there is anyone who is relying on MySQL support, please let us know ASAP!
